Structural Design

 

We specialize in building structures — from concept, modeling, and design — to construction management. We perform engineering services with an expertise in roads, highways, and structural engineering. Our structural analysis is based on Finite Elements Analysis (FEA) as standard evaluation, especially in the design of connections with complex geometry. Our designs take into consideration extreme weather conditions, earthquakes, emergency preparedness, code compliance and construction building codes, from the initial planning phases to the finished construction.

 

We help designers, building owners, developers, contractors, manufacturers and architects reduce costs, time and risk, while ensuring successful projects.

Additionally, we have developed a high level of expertise in the design of custom construction equipment for installation of façade systems, dual monorail systems, gantry systems, and scaffolding systems.

Building Information Modeling (BIM)

Building Information Modeling is an intelligent 3D model-based process that gives architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) professionals the insights and tools they need to more efficiently plan, design, construct, and manage buildings and infrastructure through the generation and management of digital representations of physical and functional characteristics.

 

BIM is fundamental for the success of our projects, since it allows merging models, eliminating conflicts and Bill of Material (BOM) errors. In addition, it is useful to automate reports and achieve efficient collaboration with the client and field teams, reducing costs, and increasing productivity.

 

We have experience creating 3D modeling structures (steel, concrete, wood, or a combination) and translating 2D drawings into detailed Building Information Modeling with precise specifications.

 

We provide our clients with a 3D printing service, complementary to 3D digital modeling, creating a scale model of our engineering solution.

Structural & Façade Access Consulting

 

Façade Access:  Design of façade systems for vertical access and installation of façade.

 

Façade Schematic Design & Engineering:  Develop the façade scheme to include drawings, preliminary calculations, and outline façade performance criteria.

 

Structural Assessment:  Preliminary and detailed assessment of material properties and test methods; evaluation of various physical conditions of the structure; building condition assessment for selected materials and other areas related to the structural performance of buildings; assessment of the structural conditions of existing buildings constructed with combinations of material, including concrete, masonry, metals, and wood.

 

Structural Detailing:  3D Modeling; steel structure and connection; rebar and precast detailing; shop drawings; construction documentation; quantity survey and estimation. Our steel detailers are well-versed in Auto Cad, Tekla, Advance Steel and Revit.
